RISE FM – The Definitive Edition V1.0
RISE FM – The Definitive Edition V1.0
This mod adds 40 minutes of new music to the original RISE FM radio station, from a select mix of trance tracks from the early 2000s that fit seamlessly into the GTA 3 atmosphere.
One of the most disappointing areas of the GTA Definitive Edition re-releases was the complete lack of new music. Alongside the removal of some tracks from Vice City and San Andreas, the Custom Tracks feature was removed for an unexplained reason.
This is (hopefully) the first of many redux radio stations that will be released by the end of the year. For my first redux, I present RISE FM: The Definitive Edition.
RISE FM is one of the best early 2000s trance mixes out there, and the years 1999-2001 were a fantastic time period for trance music. However, it does get old after some time playing the game and would have greatly benefited from a redux.
RISE FM: The Definitive Edition adds 40+ minutes of new music to the original Andre the Accelerator mix.
The following tracks have been added:
Sasha & Emerson – Scorchio (2000)
DJ Tiesto – Flight 643 (2001)
Rank 1 – Airwave (ATB Remix) (2000)
The Quest – Shaken Not Stirred (1999)
Veracoche – Carte Blanche (1999)
Dave Davis – Underground Subway (Moogwai Remix) (2001)
Solarstone – Seven Cities (Original Atlantis Mix) (1999)
Airheadz – Stanley (Here I Am) (2001)
Gouryella – Walhalla (Extended) (1999)
Primer – Everlast (2004)
All tracks have been selected to fit the “lucid” feel of RISE FM, and to fit seamlessly with the dark and tense environment of Grand Theft Auto III.
